What I got for Christmas ♥

I hope you all had a merry merry Christmas!
I know for sure that I had, while being surrounded by family and smiling faces.
I got a lot of awesome things this year, so why not share it?
First off, I got this picture-frame. It is one big picture-frame, but it has 8 "individual" picture-frames in it.
This was on my wishlist and I kinda knew that I would get it.

These two heavenly soft pillows in a white color with a darker shade underneath and a black one, I was thrilled about. Seriously, they are so soft, especially the white one! My family called it the "polar bear pillow", but I went with the "wolf pillow".
I wasn't the only one who was enjoying the fur pillows, I had to send the pillows around the table so all my grandparents could feel them, haha! :-)

I knew I would get this bad and bracelet, but I was still really excited! I mean, just look at all that (fake) fur! And the pretty vintage looking bracelet, yush!
I received two gift cards. One to Förde Park, a shopping-center in Germany, and one for New Yorker.
Finally I can shop til' I drop!

Here's a better picture of the bracelet. See how cute it is?
I got two books from my brother and sister. The first is Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. The other is Spark by Amy Kathleen Ryan, which is the second book in the Sky Chasers series.
My sister bought me an extra present, True Blood Season 4. It was an impulse buy she told me, as I don't have any of the seasons, and she already had a present for me.

I'm also really excited about Gossip Girl Season 3, because I've been wanting this for a while, and I can't wait to watch it again.

I had a pleasureable Christmas, and I hope you had too! xx

Advent-gifts throughout December!

Hello guys and happy December!
Do you still get presents on every Sunday  until Christmas eve? This year I did, and I wanted to share with you what I got the first three advent-Sundays.
First Sunday in December  (+ Saturday): The 1st of December I got a Rittersport Christmas-calendar, where you open a 'door' every day, and get a piece of chocolate - yumm!
First Sunday in December (+ Saturday): At the same time I also got another calendar (left picture), where you open a door every day that holds a number. You check the number online to see if you are one of that days winners.
Second Sunday in December: My mum awakened me with this danish book called "Den Fremmede Gæst" by Charlotte Link, which originally is a German book. (Right picture). I don't think this is translated into english, but the title means "The foreign guest".
(Original Title: Der Fremde Gäst)
Third Sunday in December: I got two more danish books. "Klasse" and "En kvinde, tre mænd og en psykolog" by Curtis Sittenfeld. (Original Titles: Prep and The Man Of My Dreams)

Fourth Sunday in December: I wanted to add a picture of my gift this Sunday, but I had trouble with it, so you must do without. I got the Playboy VIP set, not the magazine, but the deodorant and perfume! ;-)

Merry Christmas snowflakes! xx

3 am is chilling time!

Chilling.. in the middle of the night with vanilla scented candles,
fairy lights and christmas music. I had some lovely chai tea too,
but I drank it,and I also had web tv.. but the site crashed.. I guess it's
a sign - I should seriously go to bed, I am so tired, can't even write in
a normal tempo right now, hm. The post I wanted to make
didn't turn out the way I wanted it, so I gave up on it..
But you got this instead!
- I have to admit that it's not only christmas music that's playing,
I'm currently having Bruno Mars' new song "Locked Out Of Heaven"
on replay! It's amazing. Even my mum and dad listen to it!
Listen to it HERE!

Nickelback and Daughtry concert!

Okay, so in my last post I wrote that I got a concertticket to go see Nickelback live, right, and guess what?
THEY WERE AMAZING!
Seriously. Not kidding. I loved every single bit of that night.
And Daughtry played before Nickelback, I mean, what more do you want? Let me tell ya', Chris Daughtry is so, so, so cute! And petite. And he has backdimples. (He lifted his pretty v-neck shirt that fit him so well, and my sister saw his backdimples. Sadly I didn't see them.)
For those who don't know who Chris Daughtry is, or how he looks, just think Vin Diesel in a smaller version, with an amazing voice and not so muscular. - You now have an image in your head of Chris Daughtry without googling him!
Well, as I said, I loved everything. Daughtrys performance and Nickelbacks. And they even sang together! I was dying, ha. Chris Daughtry came on stage during Nickelback's "Rockstar", and they sang it together. Chris even changed the lyrics while singing to "shave my head" instead of "cut my hair", and it was so funny - Glad I got that on film.
Both bands played some of their old songs, some "classics", and some songs from their new albums - great mix!
Well. Okay. Best night of my life. I've been waiting years to go to a Nickelback concert, and then finally it happens!

Chad Kroeger, frontman of Nickelback and Chris Daughtry, frontman of Daughtry (duh!) having a cute half hug
(man hug?) on stage, at the end of "Rockstar".
Nickelback (minus Mike Kroeger who is playing guitar out of the frame) performing "Never Gonna Be Alone".
Our internet is so bad right now, so I cant upload pictures, which is why I havent posted before now, sorreh!

My birthday presents!

Hello again marshmallows!
I wanted to show you what I got for my birthday the 25th of August, but I never showed you.
So now I will, so this post is a little late, but not that much.

The birthday cards I got - with sweet notes and/or money.

My  granddad and grandmum gave me a card with a dog on it on purpose,
because they know how much I want a dog. I thought that was sweet,
and it did definitely put a smile on my face.
A purse-ish shoulderbag, with the British flag, Union Jack.
(I'm sorry, but I can't remember the name of
this type of bags/purses right now)
Gonna use the hell outta this, so adorable!
Gossip Girl season 2 on DVD. I have already
watched the first 3 discs.. I'm addicted to this series!

The Darkangel Trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce.
("The Darkangel", "A Gathering Of Gargoyles" and
"The Pearl Of The soul Of The World")
You can't buy them in Danish anymore, so I had  to wish for these.
It's one of my favorite bookseries, so I
had to have it in my book-collection sooner or later.
Sorry for the crappy quality on this one!
I didn't exactly get this, I bought it for some of the
money I received. Again, it's the Union Jack,
and I absolutely love it, pretty and great to sleep in,
what more do you want?
Other than all the cute British celebrities to share it
with you. ;-)

Birthday Haul! (or kinda)

Hello out there world!
Today I want to share with you, what I bought yesterday, for some of the money I got at my birthday last week. This is of course not all the money I received, I received a lot more, but I haven’t used them yet, and besides, I got 10 euros, and mainly I wanted to show you what I bought for them.
Okay, we went shopping in Förde Park in, well, I actally don’t know where it is located, but it is Germany, if that should help.
We went to Rossmann, a drugstore, where I picked up a tinted moisturizer from Essences “My Skin” range, in the light version. There’s a color for darker toned skins too, I only think they have two colors available, but I’m not quite sure.
It reads that it is oilfree, which I really like, as my skin is sooo oily without makeup. It has a smell to it, hard to explain, but it’s fruity.
Can’t wait to try it out!
I think I paid 1,99£ for it.

I also picked up a concealer, or coverstick, what you prefer to call it, because I felt like I needed a concealer. I have a lot of blemishes to hide, or at least try to make them seem less visible, and I decided to give this concealer a try.
Also, this coverstick is from Essence, in the color “04 true nude”, which is a pale color, with no red undertones. I hope that it can cover up my imperfections just a little, and that it lasts a little time on my oily skin.
This is also bought for around 2£.

And the most exciting thing! I bought a pigment from Essence too, in the color “02 smell the caramel”, which is a really cute name, and it’s this golden – brownish shimmery color. Really pretty! But it’s hard to see it in the picture. Can’t wait to try this little guy out!
Cost me 2,45£ if I remember correctly.

It was love at first sight (even though I don’t believe in it), when I saw this earring-mannequin. Or whatever it is called, that doesn’t matter, what matters is, that is it so effin’ cute!
Or I at least think so. It reminds me of the “October Fest” they have in Germany, and also of Hansi Hinterseer in some twisted way.
I paid 9,99£ for this little baby, in Real.

At last, I bought these earrings, or my mum did, because I really liked them. (No shit, Sherlock!)
They are a little bit formal I think, but I decided to pick them up because I’m heading out for dinner this evening, with my mum and sister, and my granddad and grandmum. We’re going out to eat Chinese, and I thought that I would dress up, just a little. :-)
Bought for 7,95£ at Bijou Brigitte.

I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend, have fun!
xx

Pain

You're touching my heart,
like no one else.
Deeply.
It hurts to see you in pain,
hurts to hear it.
Can't blame my tears for falling.
He's just a regular guy with heart and soul.
Just like everyone else.

Small acne update!

Heya!
So I went to the doctor yesterday, and within the few minutes I were there, he said I should go see a dermatologist.
My mum called a dermatologist today, and got the first date they were free. Which is in the middle of May. I actually think we have one of our first exams that day, but oh well. Now I just gotta wait, wait, wait, and then I'll see what I'm up for the next time! :-)

#Tag: Nail Polish Obsession

I have wanted to do this tag for a while, but I never got around to do it, but here it is! If you like nail polishes, you should do this tag too!
Lets get started:

1. What's your favorite nail polish company?
Essence. They have a big range of colors, and some really pretty ones, too. And they're cheap, and their quality is okay.

2. Glitter or no glitter?
Ugh. Uhm. I can't pick. Love both.

3. OPI, China Glaze, or Essie?
Never tried any of them, but i would say OPI, 'cause they have a lot of pretty colors, and I've heard good about it.

4. When do you change your nail polish?
Around noon, in the weekends.. I always end up messing my nails up, I can't sit still afterwards, and I often have to clean my room right after I apply my nailpolish, but once a week.

5. What's your favorite color on your nails?
Pastels. Or very subtle colors. Or red. I really like red, all shades of red.

6. Darks or Brights?
Brights, I think. I like that you can actually see the color, it's not just some dark polish.

7. What are you wearing on your nails right this moment?
A dark red, like wine-red. Really pretty color. I think it's the ”Fateful Desire” from Essence.

8. Matte Nails - In or Out?
IN! So pretty! I really want a matte topcoat, but haven't got around to buy one.

9. French Manicure?
I really like french manicures, they go with everything, and a very subtle! It's like saying ”hey, see my nails? I take care of myself! :)”

10. Favorite Winter Color?
Ueeeh, darker colors, and white-ish colors, and very very light blue. And grey.

Far Away

Highest up in the sky you were,
looking perfect as you always do,
and I saw you from the corner of my eye,
wishing I could get closer to you.
So far away, and yet you are my biggest dream.
Don't go away, then I can't see you.
But as we slowly moved our way around, you disappeared.
No, listen to my silent prayers to you and stay.
You didn't hear me. You were already another place,
lighting up the dark sky,
throwing moonlight shadows everywhere.

Acne cure - Starting on month 3 of of 3! (update)

Hello, I'm back with an update!
So, I am now in the third month of taking these pills, and it's the last month. Fortunately.
Last month there was a small difference, which got me all excited. Maybe these pills would actually work, right?
Nah. Guess I shouldn't have got my hopes up. But honestly, seeing a small difference, did get my hopes up - just a little.
Well, turns out now, my acne is as it was when I started, if not worse, I can't tell myself, but maybe others can.
I don't know why they're not working, maybe because I'm only on one pill a day? But I'm actually happy that I am not on a bigger dosis, because these pills smells like cat wee, and eating one banana a day, in three months, make you pretty tired of bananas.
Imagine if I should take two pills a day, that would be two bananas a day, in three months! Ugh. Or well, my banana problem aside, (nobody else probably have a problem swallowing pills with a banana, hah)
I just want to finish these pills, and then go to the doctor again, and pray for that I'll this time, get something that works. I'm tired of going to the doctor, and getting something that doesnt work, or only works for some months, with only a small impact. People who have tried going to the doctors multiple times, getting only crap, probably understand this. We just want a cure against acne, doesn't matter what it is.
My doctor said that these pills would work, that was for sure. Dear doctor; you were wrong.
When I finish this cure-thing, and go to the doctor, I really hope he'll give up all his "you don't have enough acne to go to a dermatologist" or "a dermatologist can't help your kind of acne, it's not cystic" talks.
I want to go to the dermatologist.
Well, well. Lets see.

Updating soon!

I've been really busy the last weeks, since we have had projectweek in school, which is the first part of our exams this summer, so yeah, my mind have been focused on that, but I'm going to update soon, probably saturday or sunday, I hope.

Nailpolish review: Essence Colour & Go quick drying nailpolish in 50 Irreplaceable

Today I wanted to do a review, and why not do it on a nailpolish I really like right now?
I applied it last Wednesday (8/3/12), and I'm still wearing it now, cause I am a lazy bastard. And we have a vacation right now.
I bought it for 0,95 cents, I think it originally costed 1,25 euros. But it's leaving the standard range, and therefore it's on sale.
The polish comes in a nice little 5ml bottle, and it looks like all the other Essence quick drying nailpolish bottles.
The color is hard to describe. It is beige-greyish with gold shimmer in it. Really pretty, and subtle.
Great for those who don't like wearing bright colors, or for those who wants something that's not to “pang”.
The brush is thin and nice, and it easy to manage. Its easy to apply the polish nice and even, without being messy around the nails. Applying one coat makes it really sheer, two coats are needed for full coverage – depending on how thick your coats are.
Even though it says “quick drying”, nah, not really. For me, it didn't dried that quickly, I guess it was okay, it could have been worse. And personally, I think the color showing up, looks just like the one in the bottle.
So, as I said, I'm still wearing it. It's been over a week now, and there's almost no chipping! I'm amazed. Normally my nailpolishes starts to chip after a day.
I have really pale skin, and I like it when nailcolors “match” my skin, so there's not a huge difference between the skin and color. And this color looks good on my hands, or, I think it does. So if you have pale skin, and likes colors like this, run out and get it.
At the bottom line, I can really recommend you this nail-polish! Hurry up though, it's leaving pretty soon, so make sure you get your hands on it now. And it's cheap too, so that's a plus!

Perfect Forever

I couldn't take my eyes of you.
Not that you were something new,
but you were so amazing last night,
I wouldn't know what to do if you were out of my sight.
I've always wanted to explore you, and last night I wanted it more than ever.
Your glowing outer, your imperfections - perfect forever.

Mini Haul

I tried to post the same post the last couple of days, but whatever I did, it just didn't want to do what I wanted it to. So I ended up deleting it, what a shame. But now I'm back! - with a mini haul.
(Is it still a haul even though your mum is so nice to pay for it? Thank you mama!)

Last day my sister sent me to Germany with my parents, to see if they've had got the tattoo stamps, which she said they hadn't had when she was there, the week before. (Which they actually had, haha.)
I didn't mind though, I love going to Förde Park, and shopping - no harm made.

Several times before, I had stood with these in my hands, but without buying them. Now I did it, or mama talked me into it.
They're really pretty, and can be worn with alot of things.
I had them on for the first time today, and my friends complimented them.
If you're into earrings like those, I recomend that you check them out!
Bought at Bijou Brigitte for 3,95 euros.

I fell for this color when I saw it, and had to take it with me.
(And it's going out of their standard sortiment, so it's okay to buy another new nailpolish, right?)
It's a pale brown-greyish color, with goldshimmer in it. I find it really pretty, even though I haven't worn it yet.
Since this color is leaving Essences standard range, it was on sale. I believe, dont take my word for it, it would cost 1,85 euros, or around that before.
Bought at Rossmann
Essence Colour & Go quick drying nailpolish in 50 Irreplaceable for 0,95 euros.

Since I saw this trend edition, I wanted one of these. I dont know why, actually. I'm never gonna use it properly anyway - I'm just messing around with it.
It's really cool though. Who doesnt want a heart everywhere?
I thought the color would be black, but it's dark blue. It does last all day, if you don't go out in pouring rain, and thereafter smudge it.
(I don't recomend sleeping with a heart on your hand, I woke up with hearts the most random places on my face.)
But yeah, I still think it's pretty cool.
Bought at Rossmann
Essence "Crazy Good Times" face and body tattoo in 02 Princessorize for 1,95 euros.

Acne cure - Starting on month 2 of of 3! (update)

Hello again,
I'm back with the first monthly update of my "acne cure".
(3 months on lymecycline.)
I ran out of time yesterday, so I didn't get time to make this post, but now it's here - a day late.

So, firstly, before I start, my camera wasn't in its friendly mood, so the pictures isn't that good, I'm sorry for that. Hope you can see the small difference anyway. :-)

Okay, getting started, I do think they work. Slowly, not so noticeable, but I do see a small difference.
My smaller pimples are nearly gone, and my forehead is getting clearer. (Me likey!)
I still have very oily skin, and red too, but nothing I can't handle. It's always nice when your acne is clearing up, even just a little.
I haven't had any sideeffects, not what I know of, atleast. Im really happy that I haven't got them, I know one of my good friends who is on these pills too, she has some sideeffects. But she bites the sour apple and continues, what a girl.

I do still have problems swallowing them, but I figured out, that if I take them with a banana, it glides down easily.
I remember the first days of taking the pill, I was horrified. I would get nervous just by thinking about I had to swallow a pill that evening. My heart would race at the speed of the light when I should swallow it, and if I didn't get it down in the first try, well, let us just say my heart went really crazy.
But not anymore. Now they come down in my first try. Or mostly. If they don't, I just try again, without thinking too much about it.

The pill itself is pretty soft, if you squish it. And boy, it does not taste nice! Well, you can't really taste it since you're swallowing it, or I can't, but if you have to burp the hours afterwards, be warned that your burp will have the taste of the smell of the pills. Smells like hay too me.
But nothing unmanageable. :-)
So, next month, at this time, you will see the last update of my acne cure. There might come an extra update though, a month after I finish, to see if the results lasts.

FYI: The redness on my right eye isn't acne, it's what happens
if you don't see there's a snowball coming your way. :-)

Mixed Haul

Hey pretties!
So last day I went shopping with my sister and friend, in Flensburg.
We had a great time, it was really fun. Great city with great shopping places, even though you have to speak german, but hey, that's what my friend and sister are for, right? :-)

So, starting off, I bought these feather-earrings. They kinda reminded me of cowboys, in some twisted way, I fell for them instantly, and I cant wait to wear them. So yeah, I gotta say I love them. I have a thing for feathers...
Bought at Click-six - 3 euros, on sale.

Next thing, is a really pretty box with soap in it. I bought it for the box, not for the soap, but the soap does smell nice though. It says it's a green tea soap. but I can't really describe what it smells like.
Bought at Tk Maxx - around 10 euros.

Up next is a box, looking like a big book. It's really cute, girly and pretty. My mum insisted I should have this for my room, so I could store my nailpolishes in there. But then you wouldnt could see it. So for now, its just decorating my room. (Thank you mum!)
Bought at Tk Maxx for 8,99 euros, on sale.

I have a thing for owls, hands down. I have several owl-earrings, I have a decor-owl, a shirt with an owl on, and now also a pillow with an owl.
Simply, owls are great. And this pillow is really cute, I've been thinking about buying it for a long time, but I never did it. Until now.
Bought at Tiger - around 3-4 euros.
(since I was too lazy to take some decent pictures of every single thing, some of the pics have multiple items in them.)

And here comes more owls!
Owl stickearrings in silver and pink, they were too cute to resist, so I had to but them.
Cute, huh?
Bought at Forever 18 - 2 euros.

And well, it wouldnt be a real haul, if I didnt buy anything beauty or fashion related.

First off, a Rival de Loop lipgloss, from the "Petit Trésor" trend edition, in the color 02 sensual touch.
It's a really pretty pink-reddish shade, with glimmer in it. And the packaging is pretty aswell. I love the lace detailing. It has a smell to it, I cant describe it, but it's kinda spicy. Some people dont like it, my sister doesnt, but I do.
Bought at Rossmann - 1,99 euros.

I like doing my eyemakeup, and experiment with various colors and eyeliners. Im not good with eyeliners, but I still wanted to buy a pen one, so I bought the Essence eyeliner pen. It has a felt tip and it is black. It isnt waterproof, or totally smudgeproof, but if you dont rub your eyes, or so, it will last quite a while.
Bought at Rossmann also - around 2 euros.

Nailpolishes, oh. What a sin. I own so many, still not enough, and I cant to anywhere without buying atleast one.
I needed a green one, so I can do some watermelon nailart, and shockingly, I didnt own any green nailpolish, so I ended up buying the Essence show your feet nailpolish in the color 10 in the jungle. Really pretty green color, without glitter, and it's antibacterial, which I find cool.

The other is also from Essence, from their "Crystalliced" trend edition, in the color 04 ice eyes baby.
Really pretty light pastel blue color, with shimmer in it. I does look sheer though.
Both bought at Rossmann
10 in the jungle - around 1,80 euros.
04 ice eyes baby - 0,80 euros, on sale.

And now, the last thing, but also the thing I'm the most excited about, a pouf/ottoman thing in a cowpattern! How cool is that not?
It's small, and lightweight, but words cannot describe how much I love it. It was like love at first sight.
I dont really know where to place it, I just knew I needed it, otherwise if I didnt buy it, I would regret it.
And I have such a lovely mom, she carried it the whole day! (thank you momma!)
Bought at Fantasia - 39,95 euros.
I didnt really took a picture of it itself, dont know why, but you can still see it, even though everything I bought is on top.

So, overall I used alot of money. I am a shopaholic, but without money. I hate spending money.
Once again, I have an amazing mum, she said I shouldnt pay for anything, except for the pouf!
I love you mum, and thank you! :-)

Hope to see you soon! x

Cherry Blossom nailart

Hello out there, today I wanted to show you my nails.
It's pretty messy, and not really well-made, but I guess practicing will help me. So, this is not the best, and you out there, who tries this, you can probably do better than this, but I just wanted to show my nails off anyway. This is not the prettist nailart I have done, but I still think they are okay, and I don't have a steady hand at all.

So, here is how they turned out, I only did two of my nails, but feel free to do all of your nails if you want to. Im just too lazy.

I'm totally gonna look back at this in a year or so, and I'm probably going to laugh, and think "why did I post these?" :-)

You're gonna need a minty-green nailpolish for the background (or any other color background you want, a french manicure looks really good too), a black one for the branches, a white for the flowers, and pink for the dot in the flower.

The products I used was
Essence multi dimension xxxl shine nail polish in 73 Replay (minty-green)
Essence colour & go quick drying nail polish in 08 Ultimate Pink (pink)
a black polish and a white polish (can't remember the brand)
a nailart pencil, or a nailart brush, to draw the branches
and a toothpick to make the flowers and the small dot.

Step by step:
  1. Start out applying one or two coats of your background color. I needed two coats for full coverage. Let it dry.
  2. With your black polish and a nailart pencil, draw the branches. You can draw them the way you want them to be, they don't have to look similiar.
  3. Take the white polish and a toothstick, and make small/bigger dots, whatever you prefer, where you wan't your flowers to be.
  4. In the middle of your flowers, use the pink color, and make a little dot.
  5. Let it dry, and use a topcoat to seal it.
  6. Voila, now you ended up with some pretty damn cool nails!

Much love xx

I'm starting on Tetralysal/Lymecycline! (pills against acne)

Hello again!
So, basically, I just wanted to share my upcomming "journey" with you guys, 'cause I'm starting on Tetralysal, a pill, against acne. Im so excited! I really hope those pills work.
They better do, because I have to take them for three months, and I have a hard time swallowing pills. Plus, my mum payed hell for them.
I will be posting an update once a month, I think, with pictures.
The pill itself looks like that. My mum didn't think it was big, she said it was a normal size pill. Oh lord, I think it is huge. (Dont worry, it actually isn't)
And the box, they come in, look like that.
As you can see, mine is 300 mg. This box is quite large, there's 100 pills in there.

Okay, so, I have to take once a day. With minimum a ½ glass of water. I can't drink milk 2 hours before and after. I don't have a problem with that, I don't drink much milk anyway.
I took the first one today. 02/01/12.
I have very oily- and acneproned skin.  (yet somehow, my skin is flaky.)
I took a biscuit, cheewed it, and put the pill in my mouth. Then I swallowed it all. Took me a while. Not good with swallowing things, if I can't chew them. But I got it down. Then I drank a cup of water.
I hope the sideeffects will leave me alone. (Not that there's a huge chance of getting some, and theyre not serious.)
Before I leave you for the night, I will add some pictures of my skin, so you can see how it is before I start, and then I'm going to keep posting pictures throughout the months. I hope I can see improvements myself, when I look at the pictures, in a month or so.

I am gonna put two links down here (when time comes) , one to month 2, and one to month 3, so the posts are easy to find.
